Miastoprojekt Wrocław is a private partner engaged in the regeneration of the castle grounds in Kedz

Miastoprojekt Wrocław will once again be in charge of an investment in PPP formula. The company became a private partner for the regeneration of the historic castle grounds in Kedzierzyn Koźle which, after many years, is looking forward to a thorough reconstruction. The International Cultural Centre will be created within the sixteenth-century walls. Revitalization of the object will be implemented in a form of public-private partnership, jointly with the local municipality. Authorities of Kędzierzyna-Koźle opted for public-private partnerships, selecting as their partner the company Miastoprojekt Wrocław. The task of the company will be to finance  the construction and maintenance of the premises, while the contribution of local government will be the property and the construction project. Nowadays abandoned, the walls of the castle grounds are planned to be ultimately the most important cultural object in Kedzierzyn-Kozle. International Cultural Centre will have been built by 2017, and the cost of the project is estimated at approx. 40 million PLN.  Below the castle grounds, among others, museum and restaurant will be built. For Miastoprojekt Wrocław this will be yet another large investment in PPP formula. The company was one of the first in Poland to engage in public-private partnership. Its strong side during discussions with the local government was also e its experience in the sector of  historical buildings. Miastoprojekt Wrocław managed the revitalization of Water Fort and St Jadwiga’s Bastion, located in the Park of Culture and Natural Sciences in Nysa, or the renovation of the Ksiaz Castle.
